    • Structure of the training program:
      • Stage 1: 04 compulsory courses (09 credits)

      • Stage 2: 03 selective courses on public management

      • Stage 3: Doctoral dissertation 

    To complete the training program, the PhD student will have to go through 3 main stages including (1) Completing the compulsory courses, Selectvive Topics I & II in year I, and passing the Comprehensive Proposal in Public Management (Detailed research proposal); (2) Meeting the requirements for publishing scientific articles and defending the Doctoral dissertation at the Council of specialized unit level; (3) Completing Final Doctoral dissertation defense at the university level.

    Note: 

    _ The PhD student submits scientific articles that are scored by the Council of Professors of Economics in the range (0-1) or higher and are related to the content of the dissertation. A scientific article is considered a substitute for a topic

    _ The PhD student can write and defend their doctoral dissertation in Vietnamese or English.

    - Correct majors : Candidates have a master's degree in Public Management (8340403), Public Policy (8340402)

    - Close majors: Candidates have a master's degree in the same field as the major in Public Management, including: Management Science (8340401); Human Resource Management (8340404); Management Information System (8340405); Office Administration (8340406); Management of Science and Technology (8340412); Occupational health and Safety management (8340417); Business Administration (8340101); Commercial Business (8340121); Finance - Banking (8340201); Insurance (8340204); Accounting (8340301); Economic Management (8340410). For close majors, candidates will submit a transcript of their master's program, and the school will arrange a Professional Council to consider the additional courses required. The maximum number of courses to be supplemented are 5 (10 credits): including 6 credits in the Compulsory courses and 4 credits in the Selective courses.

    - Relevant majors: Candidates have a master's degree relevant to the field of Public Management, including: Economics (8310101); Political Economy (8310102); Economic Investment (8310104); Economic Development (8310105); International Economics (8310106); Economic Statistics (8310107); Mathematical Economics (8310108); International Relations (8310206); Educational Management (8140114); Hospital Management (8720802). For relevant majors, candidates will submit a transcript of their master's program, and the school will arrange a Professional Council to consider the additional courses required. The maximum number of additional courses is 7 (14 credits): including 6 credits in the Compulsory courses and 8 credits in the Selective courses.

    Note: PhD students must complete additional courses before defending their Doctoral dissertation at the specialized unit level.
